It's not easy to be seen

It's all about surprises.

This entertaining gentleman at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii was a firemaker. He managed to accomplish his difficult task and be witty at the same time. In the photo at the left he as a bit of smoke going... that's about as far as I have gotten in the last year. A bit of smoke, promising fire.

My mind is ping-ponging with ideas to stimulate growth.

The title of this blog is "It's not easy to be seen"... my theme song for the day, sung to the melody of "It's not easy being green". But you have to be seen to get green. See how my mind works? One thing pinging off another.

Some sites offer free ads. Some offer to trade reviews. It seems the sites making the most money right now are the sites that tell you how to make money. I want to do more than make money with my sites. Sure, I need a bit of the green stuff. The green feeds the site to buy more stock and more advertising...to pay the low "overhead" of hosting and I could use a bit of jingle in my pockets. But what I had in mind when I started is what is printed on the back of my business card.
Blue Dove Treasures is all about little surprises. Small quantities of handpicked items chosen to brighten your day, give you a lift, bring forth a tiny gasp of  joy. We believe every woman still has the spirit of a child inside that craves a little magic...an occasional surprise... a magic box that holds something new each time it's opened...We are dedicated to encouraging the sould of women everywhere.

That is why the site exists. That is why I beat the bushes for good deals and keep my prices low. That is why my accountant raised his eyebrow at me over his glasses at my tax appointment this year. It's more than money. The spirit of the site is to encourage and uplift and make wonderful things affordable. That's why I get emails asking "Are your diamonds real or CZ?"  I guess I must be doing something right when a shopper thinks my prices are too good to be true. My diamonds are real. The energy behind the site is real.

I hope the fire is close behind the current smoke. I hope it's like "pay it forward" and spreads in the ture manner of a wild fire.
